2. PURPOSE OF DATA PROCESSING
Data processing is carried out on the basis of legal requirements in order to fulfill the treatment
contract between you and your psychotherapist and the associated obligations.
For this purpose, I process your personal data, in particular your health data. This includes medical
histories, diagnoses, therapy suggestions, and findings that I or other psychotherapists or doctors
collect. For these purposes, other psychotherapists or doctors, who are or have been treating you may
also provide me with data (e.g. in doctor's letters).
The collection of health data is a prerequisite for your treatment. If the necessary information is not
provided, a diligent treatment cannot be provided.

I will only transfer your personal data to third parties if this is permitted by law or if you have given your consent.
Recipients of your personal data may primarily be other doctors/psychotherapists, associations of
statutory health physicians, health insurance companies, the medical service of the health insurance companies,
medical associations, and private medical clearing houses.
The transfer is mainly for the purpose of billing for the services provided to you, for clarification of
medical issues and issues arising from your insurance relationship. In individual cases, data is transmitted to other authorized recipients.
For video consultations, I use the software from REDMEDICAL.
You can find more information about their security and certifications
hier.
4. STORAGE OF YOUR DATA
I store your personal data only for as long as is necessary to conduct your treatment.
Due to legal requirements, I am obliged to keep this data for at least 10 years after the treatment is
completed. Under other regulations, longer retention periods may apply, for example, 30 years for X-ray
records according to Section 28(3) of the X-ray Ordinance.
5. YOUR RIGHTS
You have the right to obtain information about your personal data. You may also request that incorrect
data be corrected.
In addition, under certain conditions, you have the right to have data deleted, the right to restrict
data processing, and the right to data portability.
The processing of your data is based on legal regulations. Only in exceptional cases do I require your
consent. In these cases, you have the right to revoke your consent for future processing.
You also have the right to complain to the competent supervisory authority for data protection if you
believe that the processing of your personal data is not lawful.

This also applies beyond the death of the person concerned.
7. LEGAL BASIS
The legal basis for the processing of your data is Article 9(2)(h) DSGVO in conjunction with Section 22(1)(1)(b) Federal Data Protection Act. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me.
